Common questions
Where are my books?
On your device. BrainDump has no account and no cloud library. Your books, reading positions, marks, notes and reading stats are stored only on your iPhone or iPad.
How do I add books?
Import EPUB files from the Files app, or share an EPUB to BrainDump from another app. Twelve free classics from Standard Ebooks come with the app; you can hide them in Settings › Free books.
How do I turn off the AI features?
Go to Settings › Book intelligence and tap Turn off AI features. Nothing more is sent after that. The reader keeps working without them.
How do I delete my data?
Deleting a book removes it and its marks from your device. Deleting the app removes your books and everything else BrainDump stored about your reading. To ask about data on our server, see the privacy policy or email us.
